Greetings Friends and Family, This summer marks a truly significant and exciting transition for our family, and we wanted to share a glimpse into the journey with all of you. Our hearts are overflowing with anticipation and the sheer joy of watching our family grow, a testament to the beautiful path we feel called to walk.
Our Quiver is Filling!
As many of you know, our lives are wonderfully full with our four precious children. This year, that fullness is set to multiply! We are joyfully anticipating the arrival of four or five more little ones by the end of the year. This rapid growth highlights the immense happiness we find in raising children. For us, family truly is the foundation of our happiness, and we are embracing this substantial shift with open arms and grateful hearts. The “beautiful chaos” is something we cherish deeply!
Community, Service, and Shiloh’s Call
Our life extends beyond our immediate household into a vibrant community of coworkers. While living and working so closely presents its own unique challenges, we continue to find our rhythm, especially through the anticipation of upcoming workgroups. It was during one such workgroup back in 2023 that we first discovered Shiloh – a place that resonates so deeply with our core values of service. Our yearning for a life centered on “Christ, Community, and Children” continues to fill us with love and a profound sense of fulfillment.
Alongside our commitment to people, we also feel a strong dedication to maintaining the equipment and resources entrusted to us. We strive to be good stewards of all that the Lord has provided, seeing this as an integral part of our service.
Faith Over Works: Our Guiding Principle
Through all these changes and endeavors, one truth has been our ultimate focus, especially during our time here on the ranch: we are saved through faith, not by our works. This understanding is paramount. It’s a reminder that grounds us, sustains us, and will undoubtedly carry us forward into whatever God has planned for us next.
