Jesus gave new life to him.

Growing up on the prairies of Kansas a half century ago, I heard that phrase rather frequently. Being an hour from Dodge City and cutting my teeth on “Gunsmoke”, “Bonanza” and TV Westerns it was more like “Howdy, Podnuh!”

When you give to Shiloh’s financial needs most folks would consider you a “donor” or a “contributor”. Fair enough. But when you invest the extra love to pray for our families, it changes that relationship. Significantly. Prayer changes things because it adds God’s blessings and power to the situation.

Great things have been happening at the Ranch this sum- mer but none more exhilarating than watch Hunter being bap- tized into Christ last Sunday. He gave his old life to Jesus. Jesus gave new life to him. Eternal Life!

We currently have 43 youngsters in our five homes with a current capacity for seven more. Some of these children have scant familiarity with our Savior. All need His Grace and For- giveness. That discipleship through relationship is the always primary focus for us. As Shiloh continues to help even more kids it will take more than just money to truly help.
