SCS Supervisors become “students” to be more effective Teachers
Just got back from taking our supervisors to their official training with the ACE curriculum program. I got to be their “uber driver” all week, taking them to their Christian school where training was held, delivering their lunch, driving them wherever needed and having lengthy discussions together about our upcoming school year. They were a little nervous about being in the student’s seat for their four-day sessions, doing what our students do and following all the procedures they are asked to follow. Think they learned a lot this week as they even had to learn memory verses, ask permission to do things, be quiet at their desks, and even came back to the hotel each night with homework!! I know they are glad they will return to the teacher’s side of the desk again this fall, but it all gave them a different perspective of life in the classroom!
Looking forward to an exciting school year which will be here before we know it!!! Thanks for all you do to allow us this opportunity … .to be able to reach out to some children who we may not be able to welcome into our homes without this arm of our ministry.
