Your partnership is vital to Shiloh
“The reports of my retirement are greatly exaggerated.” (My adaptation of a misquoting of Mark Twain, circa 1900)
“I thought you retired last year?!? Seems you’re on the move now more than ever!” (Response from a friend back in Kansas)
You and our Shiloh Partners have made those quotes seem very appropriate this summer. In an eight-day span this past week I have been allowed to share the story of Shiloh’s ministry seven times at six different locations!
The past 12 months have brought such exciting improvements to the ways our Homeparents can help Christ’s Children. From here “on the sidelines” I can hardly contain my excitement!
But the biggest honor for me is getting the chance to meet more of the churches and individuals who kept my wondrous family, fed, clothed and prayed for over the span of four decades. What a joy and privilege to see those faces and thank them for that precious partnership!
Shiloh Christian Children’s Ranch is nearing our Golden Anniversary of service. To meet the growing need in our country, we are stretching out in faith to build more homes for the increasing number of applications we get for help with children.
Rather than ask you, our faithfully generous partners, to increase your giving to supply that forecasted, increased need, I am asking you first to Pray.
- Pray for the future Homeparents Shiloh will need to care for these children.
- Pray for the children that are already here and those coming our way.
- Pray for your wisdom and insight on how you can expand our network of faithful partners. If you know five other people who care about children as compassionately as you, please invite them to partner with you in helping meet these future needs together. If even one of them comes alongside you, we will be gaining ground through more Partners.
- Pray gratefully to the God who continues to supply “…all our needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
I’m so incredibly excited to see how God will bring all this to pass. He has never failed to over-amaze me!
Cherish The Day,
Kevin
