We Seek to Guide Our Children to Connect with Our Faithful Savior
Spring is here and soon we’ll be moving right into summer! This is our first spring in our new home, and we have been taking advantage of decent weather to make our home as inviting as possible. Recently, we had a work group come and add seating to our front porch. All our kids really enjoy this new addition, and I can see lots of books being read and family time happening in our new hammock swings.

As the weather continues to warm up, our children are enjoying more outside time at the basketball court, play sets and the pond. It always does our hearts good to see our children enjoying the simpler things in life and building lasting memories. All too often our kid’s carry a lot of hurt that can sometimes be spurred on by seasons and holidays. Holidays, especially very personal holidays like Mother’s Day, can be particularly difficult for our children to process. When their foundations have been shaken, it can leave our children confused and with feelings of loneliness. This is why it’s so important for us to work every day on our children’s foundations. Showing them that our ultimate foundation is Christ and with Him we can be firm in who we are and Who’s we are. We seek to guide our children to connect with our faithful Savior so that they can learn how to build strong connections with others in the future.
Even in the blur of the day-to-day routine, we must make time to reinforce connections with each of our children. Our current household consists of eleven children aged 11-17 years old. Between various sports, activities, schedules and some of our teens gaining jobs this summer, we know we must be intentional with our time we have them.
With intention in mind, we have planned a family trip this summer to the Great Smoky Mountains Na- tional Park. We’re looking forward to hiking and seeing wild- life and waterfalls, with a few surprises planned for the kids as well. We look forward to a trip full of wonderful memories.
We hope you all will make plenty of your own special summer memories as well. We would love to hear from you or even better, see you at our Open House in September. We get so much joy from hearing from our partners in ministry. Your support, love, prayers and encouragement are priceless gifts to us. Thank you for joining us on this ministry journey. May the Lord bless and keep you.

In Him, Jeremy, Ashley & Cohn Crew
