Our Mission

The mission of Shiloh Christian Children’s Ranch is to provide Christian Homes for abused, neglected, and other at-risk children and to meet the spiritual, emotional, social, and physical needs of each child.

Our Belief Statement

We believe we must believe without reservation in the full and final inspiration of the Bible, that it is the infallible Word of God, and all- sufficient rule of faith and life. We believe in the deity and supreme authority of Jesus Christ. We believe in the divine origin and character of the Church and the restoration of its unity on the New Testament basis. We believe and accept the New Testament plan of salvation: faith in Jesus Christ, repentance towards God, confession, of Christ, and immersion into Christ by baptism. We believe and accept without qualification the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His miraculous life, and blood atonement, His bodily resurrection, His personal second coming, the reality of final judgment, heaven, and hell as taught in the Bible.

Our Philosophy

The love and care of children at Shiloh is our priority. Our ministry strives to utilize God’s focus on the family structure as our guiding premise. That focus is carried out by a loving Christian husband and wife we call homeparents, who model Christ-like character for the children in their care.

Shiloh is blessed to have a rural, ranch-site setting to guide our children towards understanding of a Godly work ethic, responsibility, and accountability. Our Shiloh families work together to build strong and healthy relationships. Leisure and play time are also vital in the family dynamic.

Shiloh family’s worship and study God’s word in many various mediums. Shiloh families have daily devotions as a family unit where the children see the importance of God’s word in their daily family life. They attend church together and worship becomes part of the children’s life. The Shiloh children also attend weekly youth group, summer camps, and youth conferences during their time at Shiloh.

Education plays an important role in our ministry’s philosophy. A structured and safe family/home setting allows our children the opportunity to grow academically. Shiloh utilizes both private Christian (Tri-County Christian School and Shiloh Christian School) and public schools to educate our children.

In regard to counseling for our Shiloh children, we have three Christian licensed counselors meeting with our children to address their issues and needs. By having Christian counselors, we are able to share needed care to the children through a Christian world view instead of a secular focus.

In conclusion, our philosophy of what we strive to attain is trusting in God’s plan for the family and instilling and modeling His plan for our Shiloh children.
