As a License-Exempt Residential Care Facility in the State of Missouri, Shiloh Christian Children’s Ranch must ensure all volunteers who have unsupervised contact with children or stay on site during their work group or mission trip, have a Letter of Eligibility from the Division of Social Services prior to their scheduled trip. Shiloh Christian Children’s Ranch understands the burden this can place on our donors, supporters, and volunteers. However, we all share the same goal; love, protect, heal, and make a positive impact on the children entrusted to our care. Because we know our supporters are just as passionate as we are about this mission, we are not concerned that we may lose these incredibly valuable and treasured relationships. We know your hearts are loyal. We are, however, concerned that you may find the cost of this process to be burdensome. If you have questions or concerns at any time during the eligibility screening process, please reach out and we will assist you to the best of our ability.
If you would like more information about the cost of a background check to volunteer at SCCR, please see the fee schedule linked below.
