We taught and Tried to Model God’s Teachings
Mary and I have two daughters, Danielle and Erin. They each are mothers of a girl and a boy. They both are Godly mothers to their children. Their children are children that seek and are God-loving young people. Needless to say, Mary and I are so thankful and appre- ciative that God is at the center of all their lives.
Mary and I always prayed that this would be the scenario as we were raising Danielle and Erin. As parents, we tried our best to be Godly parents and be the example that God asks parents to be. We taught and tried to model God’s teachings (Deuteronomy 6:4-10) and love to our girls. Now, as we watch our girls parent their children (alongside their husbands), we are pleased to see them repeating that cycle of Godly instruction and love.
Unfortunately, that “cycle of Godly instruction and love” does not always occur in all family settings in our society and culture. That is why our mission at Shiloh is so important. There are situations where children are not offered that same opportunity.
Our Homeparent Couples open their Shiloh homes to children where those children can have the opportunity to see first-hand God’s plan for the family where they have a Christian mom and dad that have a passion of sharing God’s love to them.
Our Shiloh homes and homeparents are there for those children in need of God’s instruction and love because of your love and commitment to our Shiloh ministry. As you have read in this edition of “Results” newsletter, the impact of your support is front and center in offering our Shiloh children a chance to learn His plan for their lives as they grow into adulthood. As a Shiloh Family, we pray that they choose to become parents that teach “God’s instruction and love” to their children one day! Please pray for that to become a reality for our children.
As always, thanks so much for all your prayers and support for our Shiloh Family! You make a lasting difference in so many children’s lives!

In Christ’s love, Mark
