We Incubated 22 Eggs, 15 Hatched and Are Doing Well
This spring I (Dennae) have gotten to do elective classes each Thursday with Shiloh School kiddos. We have just finished four weeks of learning and exploring all things eggs/chickens. We incubated 22 eggs, 15 hatched, and are doing well. They were eggs from our coop, which made it a little extra neat. We also learned about chick development in the egg, made “egg” babies out of blown eggs they kept safe a week and had an “eggpic” egg drop challenge.
“We are blessed beyond measure and thank you for being a part of this amazing ministry with us.”
God works in mysterious ways, and shortly after we had to say goodbye to Trey, we got a message that the twins were not doing well back at home. So, in April we welcomed back Ezmae and Elisha. They were excited to see everyone and everyone was so happy to see them.
Petunia is settling in and has enjoyed having other kids her age to play with. She has really enjoyed the warmer days being able to go out and ride a bike and to jump on the trampoline.
Luke competed in his first Rubik’s cubing competition with some of the Kolars’ boys. It was a good experience and has motivated him to continue working to improve his time.
Ezra is working Mondays at Tri-County Christian School in the daycare, and it is really cool to see him go from being a Middler to working in the Middler room. The kids all love him, and the teacher says he does great playing with the kids.
Izzy has done well at school this year and has gotten to be on privileges a couple times. She is also part of a middle school girls Bible study and has begun to develop some good friendships with the other girls in the group.

Hunter has been doing some spring football practice, and lots of hoop shooting to prepare for next year’s sports seasons. He is looking forward to working down at Camp Jo-Ota this summer and being part of the summer musical.
Mirlanda has had some ups and downs, but we’re praying she begins to really accept where she is in life and choose joy. Mirlanda can be a great help with tasks and younger kids. We hope she can have more opportunities to do those things over the summer.
Grace did amazing in the local theater’s production of “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”. She is also going to be lifeguarding, and working at camp, and in the summer musical. She’s getting very excited to FINALLY be a senior. She has waited patiently for the last three years to be the oldest, and her time is right around the corner.
In just four short weeks, Heaven will graduate. It seems like yesterday and also a lifetime ago she was a kindergartener at the Beaureguards’. We are so proud of her and are excited to see where life takes her. She has gotten registered at MACC and is looking forward to pursuing a degree in social work.
The saying, “the days are long, but the years go quickly” is so, so true. We are thankful for the time we get with each kid that comes to our home. Whether it is 7 months or 7 years. We pray that they feel loved, know safety, and learn that, no matter what, that God sees them and loves them.
We are blessed beyond measure and thank you for being part of this amazing ministry with us.
Pray that our kids old and new will not only accept our love but will more importantly accept God’s love and his desire for them to be called His children.

Blessings, The Moore’s
